The
Listening Librarian's Wiki will continue my exploration of podcasts as
they can be related to readers' advisory services in the library. Mind
you, I am an academic systems librarian with no background in readers'
advisory but I am a compulsive reader who is very interested in the
wide range of content available in podcasts.
Wikis are supposed to be collaborative so if you don't like my descriptions or think I left out an important source of podcasts please contribute to the Listening Librarian. The few entries I have up now are really stubs as I figure out how to organize the wiki and figure out the voice to use when I write entries.I want to give anyone who stumbled upon this site something to look at. I do have another
reason for this wiki. One of my jobs is to look for ways to promote
library services and to that end I am seeing how many of the freely
available social software/networking tools I can integrate in a common
purpose.
